While looking at the plugins.json files for i386 and armhf I noticed that the urls pointing to the plugin's zip files are (still?) using http.

Would it make sense to change these urls from using http to https or would this block the download of plugins from Volumio?

It should work fine, its hosted on gh-pages - although a MITM attack is the least of the security concerns ;-)
