I don't know why close this issus [Bug report] PNPM complain two errors but yarn haven't.

I'm not ask questions, I installed it by pnpm according to the documentation but it can not work successfully, Isn't that a bug for your documentation?

Yes, I'm really a noob, but in fact, if someone following the documentation to install VuePressNext by pnpm, he will fail.

To solve it, install with next flag:

The worst thing is you are in the condition that you know little about something, yet you still shout out loud to give judgement saying "Some thing is broken", "Something is not working" before making EXTRA checks and trying to ask politely "Hi guys, I tried xxx, why I am getting these errors".

This is open source, nobody owes you anything, since nobody here is expected to teach you basics at issue panel, and I already answered all of your problems, why shouldn't I close and lock that issue to prevent receiving new questions?

@vuepress/utils@next is not necessary, at least for the "As Easy as 1, 2, 3" part, right? We are trying to simplify the guide in the homepage, so we'd better not list all packages, because they are not required for most users.

If you are going to use the @vuepress/utils package, we are assuming that you are trying to make some advanced customizations, then you should have more knowledge about the JavaScript/Frontend ecosystem, including how pnpm works:

pnpm requires you to declare any package before importing it, see pnpm docs at pnpm.io for more details about pnpm islolated strategy. You import @vuepress/utils yet not install it.

To be honest (no offense), your issue looks like that you don't understand why you need to install @vuepress/utils explicitly when you are using pnpm. In other words, it indicates that you don't know how to use pnpm.

If you think we lack guidance for users who are not front-end developers, it's OK to open an issue to point out which part should be improved, but not saying "this part is wrong" without enough understanding. That's why we think you need help. But if you still think you don't need help, we apologize to you.

I am not getting angry, when we are receving question on github instead of discord channel, we treat you a coder, or at least somebody learning coding.

Almost EVERY language use function_name(args) to call functions, and ALL languages requries the function to be defined. You should know this part whatever you code with, php, java, dart, go, swift, c, cpp, c# and so on. Yet you still provides a viteBundler with red wave underlines in your production.

You declared you follow the guide on homepage, yet you just modify it as the way you like with mistakes and REFUSE TO REALIZE THIS PART. Am I clear?

Also I met a lot of users who works at backend using vuepress. They know little about front-end area too. But most of them will stick to docs, and do customizations step by step carefully, and they meet any issues, they will ask like "I ran into some errors, here is what I just did and here is the log, where am I wrong? | Am I doing something wrong? | Is there any mistake here? | Is this working as expected? They don't say "Hey this is a bug" and open an issue if they are not sure whether they are doing things correctly, and they won't insisit something not true if I point out what they are missing.
