An ideal candidate would have a technical engineering background and strong passion for Bitcoin and a desire to make using Bitcoin secure, fast, and simple for everyone.
Roles
- Work with engineering, design and marketing to build world-class Bitcoin applications and experiences.
- Assure multiple product life cycles flow from discovery, research, design, development, quality assurance, and launch.
- Discover, prioritize, and write requirements for new product features.
- Take ownership of products, hence make careful code reviews to other team members.
Skills
- Knowledge of one interpreted language (Python, JavaScript) and one compiled (C, Go, Rust).
- Previous working experience as PM is a nice to have is a strong plus.
- Experience with empathetic, human-centered software design.
- Knowledge of open source engineering practices and processes, such as a solid testing methodology and documentation.
- Prior contributions to open source projects and experience in software development projects.
- Understanding of Bitcoin, other digital currencies, and cryptography in general is preferred.
- Understanding of distributed systems architectures and implications of peer-to-peer apps.
- Ability and eagerness to pick things up quickly, take ownership of projects, and develop new skills.
