I need to rescue my Evernote data after dropping back to the Free tier. I found evernote-backup with great joy. I am running an old Mac with MacOS 10.13.6, which Apple loads with Python 2.7 -- too low for evernote-backup. So I went to puthon.org and downloaded the Python 3.10 installer, and ran it. I also ran the Install Certificates command and the Update Shell Profile command. Then I copied evernote-backup to /usr/local/bin and attempted to run it.
Does this mean that it is accessing the Apple version of python instead of the newer version? How do i get e-b to run?
Thanks for any ideas.
