"Colorful" invert option washes out all colored text

I've been looking forward to inverted text color correction for a very long time, and the recent update implemented it, but not correctly. For some reason, the option washes out all the colors or makes them really dark, but never makes them the actual intended color.

This doesn't seem right at all. I'm on Windows 11 with the latest version of the extension and the latest version of Firefox.
