Your dataset sounds a lot like the same sort of data used for forecast verification. I tried to find some easy sources through Google with no success. The verification folks tend to not put their data in public. Historical weather model data (GFS, ECMWF, etc.) is easier to get, but it may depend on what you're training your model to do. I didn't go poke around NCEI, seems like they might have some forecast archives, but NCEI nowadays is a big haystack to hunt through. |

I am looking to see if I can get data for the last year on historical weather predictions (not observed weather). We currently pull the weather predictions daily and also pull in the observed weather the day after. But we have only been doing this for the past 2 months but would like more information to help some model training. The data does not need to live in an API but can be a flat file of some type. I am more than happy to sort through it and extract out the data in the format we need.
It may be included in that data but if we could also get any weather alerts for at least a year in the past too as we store that information too and will use it in our model training. Thanks
