I'm really new to chef and ruby and installed your plugin with the regular gem install command you have listed in the README.md file, this resulted in the following error from chef when trying to do knife cookbook upload --all I got this exception Exception: NameError: uninitialized constant Chef::CookbookUploader::Queue because i was using ruby 1.8.7.
Maybe you can update the readme to say /opt/chef/embedded/bin/gem install knife-github-cookbooks or put a note in there for newbies like me maybe? :)
