Are there any concerns for using carousels design pattern with WET v15.2.0?

Hi, is this guide/demo still valid?

I would like to use the carousels pattern for image galleries that may contain around 10 pictures. This is the only guide/ demo I have found (it's at least 4 years old). Any concerns, recommandations, or instruction to not use it on a public page? is the pattern still supported? because we are using one of the 2024 templates (https://github.com/wet-boew/GCWeb/releases/tag/v15.2.0)!
