Nothing Ctrlh can't do :) (I also don't find these defaults very useful even in an editor since there is no value in the Word mnemonic (you use these often enough to not need it), so it's better to bind both delete |

If you're using a terminal-based text editor, you might have conflicting keybinds, e.g.
The current Nightly version allows you to map a keybind in a way that resolves this conflict: it would test whether the pane is running a text editor and pass the keybind through if so
So Ctrlw won't close your editor, but instead pass Ctrlw through to the editor
Below is a short example of how that would work
-- lib/mytable.lua, get the content from github.com/bew/dotfiles/blob/main/gui/wezterm/lib/mystdlib.lua
