At the end of every workout, one would typically increase the weights/reps/time that would need to be achieved for the next workout in order to attain progressive overload. Currently, this has to be done manually by editing the workout program after each exercise.
Proposal
I'm proposing that wger implements automatic workout progression. Perhaps you could use https://www.liftosaur.com/ as a possible inspiration on how this could be achieved.

Hi! Yes, adding more flexibility is definitely in our (very long) todo list (see eg #848). I have only played for a bit with liftosaur, but that could very well be an option to consider, thanks!
