Status on New 3DS support?

This might be ridiculous but, I'm just wondering what the status is with New 3DS support, since it isn't mentioned anywhere. I have tried Minecraft New 3ds edition and it only gets to the logo, which is progress of course.

The system will always report as O3DS and the extra arm11 cores/fcram aren't emulated, nor are most N3DS-only services, though some games don't seem to mind that

essentially n3ds only games/software like minecraft will be unplayable.

Needless to say this project will have an enormous amount of attention now.

And most N3DS enhanced games like Yoshi's Wooly World and Kirby's Extre Epic Yarn will run in O3DS mode aka 30FPS
