Status update ST3?

Hi, this looks great, but I don't use ST2 anymore.

Do you have any idea when you might have an ST3 version that we can start testing?

There is no ETA at the moment, sorry :(

I won't even attempt to guess since:
a) this is basically a bag of prototypes and you don't really know what obstacles will creep up next, even for 'solved' problems. For example until recently termios module was not available in ST3, adding another layer of complication.
b) I don't want to miss arbitrary deadlines, disappoint people and myself :)

If I ever do pick it up (which is very likely, if only for the sake of seeing how things have changed performance-wise) it'll be Sublime Text 3 only and I'll focus on making it usable on Linux first, OSX shortly after and if I really really really don't have anything to do on Windows (maybe).

I know it doesn’t answer your question, but it's best I can do right now.

Very interested in this and wouldn't mind poking around / helping in any ways possible on Linux side. How about starting a new branch or repository that starts about from scratch, properly utilizing the ST3 API? (It should make things easier, probably)
