Is it planned to add a KimonoDesigner version also for Windows 10 ?

The bottom of this post states future expansion to a true cross platform app is intended:

That said, based on the complete lack of changes in this project for many months, and lack of attention to issues, it seems to me the project died almost immediately after launch! Not a shocker coming from MS, wouldn't be the first time they kill off needful things (like Xaml designers).

Revisiting this topic... IMHO, here is the most epic thing Microsoft could do:

  • Unify Xamarin "flavor" of Xaml to be standardized (works in WPF, UWP and XF, i.e. StackPanel, not StackLayout, etc.)
  • Have Blend for Visual Studio officially support said Xaml
  • Have Blend also support SkiaSharp asset creation / code gen (as Kimono initially set out)

Now THAT would be awesome sauce. And I would wait patiently if Kimono was abandoned in favor of such a good strategy.

@KMullins-Xam, @charlespetzold take that back to the team and discuss, seriously. :)
