In VS Community 2019 v 16.7.7, the new project template "Xamarin.UITest Cross-Platform Test Project" creates a project with a TF of .NET Framework 4.6.1
I am trying to convert the projects in my solution to only use .NET Core 3.1 or .NET Standard 2.1, as is suggested by the reading I have done about the evolution of .NET
Is there a newer project template available for Xamarin UI testing?
What should I be using for Xamarin UI testing in the new world of .NET Core?
