Feature Roadmap
This roadmap outlines our anticipated major feature releases in addition to proposed and planned ongoing service releases.
Xamarin.Forms 5.0.0 is the current stable release. Release notes
With the delay of .NET MAUI GA, we will also move up the end-of-life date of Xamarin.Forms. When .NET MAUI will be released as stable, Xamarin.Forms will be supported up until 12 months after that. Th exact date is to be announced.
In the meantime, service releases for Xamarin.Forms 5 will happen monthly.
The development of our next major version is underway at dotnet/maui. .NET MAUI will ship with .NET 6, now in preview.
Your existing and new Xamarin.Forms applications will migrate to .NET MAUI with tooling assistance and documentation which we will provide later in the .NET 6 preview timeframe.
