[Bug] Some DRM content won't play with Google Chromecast TV and Kodi #1699

Describe the problem

Some of the movie won't play and received "One or more items failed to play error" on Chromecast TV and Kodi 21.1 and latest InputStream adapter, no problem with Kodi PC or Kodi Amazon Firestick.

Using Matt Husiman Kodi addon, InputStream 22.1.4 or 22.1.5 the same error.

provide the logcat that should show something more about the underlying problem, at least i hope otherwise no cues
despite its free stream i cant test it by myself because provider block also vpn (geolocked)

With the channel 7 or 9 add-on, some movie (I think with DRM one) , I receive "one or more items failed to play", tried difference version of InputStream the same errors but no problem with Kodi on Windows and Firestick, only happened with Google Chromecast TV, already tried reset Kodi, uninstalled Kodi, cleared data and cache of Kodi.

my guess is something wrong with the actual OS.
If you install the 7plus Android APK, can you play the same content?
Does other DRM content play in other apps on the device?

Could try a factory reset of the Chromecast TV

Install 7plus app, no problem to play the same movie, only happened with the 7 Kodi addon.

Never have DRM problem in other apps on the same device.

From the log seems like like an inputstream / widevine / google issue:
"GetKeyRequest: Key request not successful"

At the moment, don't want to do a factory reset of the Chromecast TV.

if you dont provide these info there is no way to try investigate:

If you are unable,
since it is geolocked or someone else takes on the investigation,
or the issue will be closed soon as we have nothing to work with

I have problem copy the manifest file from Kodi folder on chromecast TV but I could use Kodi file manager to view it (won't allow me to copy it to USB, not sure why), so I took pictures of the manifest file, hope it will help.
