Well, you can read more about it over here, am not gonna re-hash all that here. But I would like to add that it's more of a Base you build your system with, kinda like the base of a Lego set.
If you are keen to learn about Arch and grow, do not use the ArchInstall script. It's fine if you that's your jam, you just wouldn't be learning much due to its limited nature. Doing it the recommended method by following The ArchWiki has a lot more benefits, especially when it comes to troubleshooting. (Win<->Win)
Now in case you did not know it already, I used to maintain a somewhat very popular Arch-Based distro called, XeroLinux for the past 3 years which allowed me to learn a lot of great things, thanks to the awesome Linux Community.
One of the most important things I have learned is that, building the OS from the ground up satisfies one's specific needs without having to adhere to an already built system, giving you the ultimate Freedom of Choice. The other thing is that this will allow you to learn more as you go making you feel like just gained a new super-power lol.
Hope this helps...
