<b>TEC_TO_OBJ</b>
is a FORTRAN90 program which
can read a TECPLOT ASCII file defining a 3D surface of triangles
or quadrilaterals,
and write a corresponding Alias OBJ file.
</p>
<p>
<b>TEC_TO_OBJ</b> can only read a very specific type of TECPLOT ASCII FILE,
namely, one in which the spatial dimension is 3, and in which
the objects are triangular finite elements.
<p>
<p>
This means that the first three lines of the TECPLOT file
should look something like this:

VARIABLES = "X", "Y", "Z", "R", "G", "B"

where the important things are:

The list of variables on line 2 begins with "X", "Y" and "Z",
which indicates this is a 3D spatial problem;

The formatting information on line 3 specifies POINT datapacking
with FETRIANGLE or FEQUADRILATERAL zonetype.
