A Twitter bot that tweets daily how many asteroids are near-earth according to NASA and if any are deemed hazardous according to NASA, also tweets a unique daily picture of space from NASA.
This project utilizes NASA's Open APIs to get information on near earth asteroids and if any are close enough or are in a trajectory to be deemed hazardous according to NASA, that information is then put in a tweet using the Twitter API and Tweepy. Similarly, a daily picture of space is taken from one of NASA's Open APIs and put into a tweet.
The project is hosted on PythonAnywhere and is optimized to work with the free tier and can be seen working at this twitter account
