Budget Request: veYFI III

After the expiration of the previous request and three months of minimally operating veYFI without compensation, we now propose a provisional request to manage minimal upkeep and ongoing veYFI operations, while waiting for our workload to ease up

Objective

veYFI is currently operational in a hybrid state, with on-chain governance contracts deployed but management roles controlled by a multi-sig. This request aims in minimal mode (5k DAI/month), until the team is ready to transition veYFI operations fully on-chain, and make the final request for the veYFI team in Active Development (20k DAI/month).

Deliverables

• 7. Weekly Manual Upkeep Tasks: Perform ongoing manual operations until full transition to on-chain governance:
  • For each epoch:
    • Create snapshot vote
    • Submit vote weights to the gauge controller on-chain before the new epoch starts
    • Distribute dYFI to legacy gauges at the start of a new epoch
  • For whitelisting new gauges:
    • Create snapshot vote
    • Add gauge to registry if vote passes

2 months starting with the approval of this request.
