Scope

With over 500 strategies and more than 1,000 enabled trades spread across Mainnet, GNO, and Arbitrum, Liquidity Services has the mission of executing the exchanges of rewards/bribes for want tokens.

Guidelines:

• Their processes are focused on returning the highest possible amount of want tokens to the strategy. It does not generate any type of revenue.
• Uses Seasolver as a baseline.
• All Cowswap solvers participate in the quote and the solution.
• The rewards/bribes/wants that are not resolved by Seasolver are exchanged manually, using 1inch/curve, and price verification via an external oracle.

Plan

During this year, there may be changes in the way rewards/bribes are sold, which will modify the role of Liquidity Services

• Main Solution:

  • Continue selling rewards for v2 and v3 strategies while optimizing these processes
  • Keep collaborating with yLockers providing custom swapping service
  • Keep collaborating with Dinobots as a heavy Cowswap's user
  • Maintain up to date all the scripts needed for daily operation on Dinobots repository
  • Budget: $10,000/mo

• Transition Mode:

  • With the implementation of Dutch Auctions + COW Smart Orders by more strategies, there should be a scenario where the workload gradually decreases, but the objectives are maintained.
  • Budget: $7,500/mo

• Legacy Mode:

  • With Dutch Auctions + COW Smart Orders fully implemented, liquidity services will focus on:
    • Tokens that are not resolved by Cowswap
    • Chains where it remains as the main solution
    • Strategies with a specific timeline for the sale of rewards/bribes that make them incompatible with auctions.
  • Budget: $4,500/mo
