Smarttube apk doesn't work in Android smartphones. You can use youtube revanced app instead. check revanced.net

Setting aside this app is not for a phone.

adb install app_name.apk ?????

produced an error?
no error?
What is it EXACTLY that you did and describe the error or result (only because I'm curious because this app is unlikely to produce the desired behavior on a phone.)
