Chord detection

Hello!

sorry if I posted in the wrong section, I didn’t find a better place to post.
I code a little bit in Python and at the same time learning to play piano. I am not a developer, but can code some things.

I would like to build an app to live-detect the chord (note combination) been played on the piano connected through midi on a raspberry pi.

a bit like the “Ableton MIDI Monitor”:

I am thinking about using your code as a brick of my project. Do you think, it could be a good option? Or maybe do you have any recommandation?
