What kind of effort would it take to get this app on Fdroid?

Hi @MrSampson, this app is only a web app. It is not on any store. You can install it by visiting osmapp.org/install – it merely creates a shortcut to browser on your home screen.

While I don't see the benefit it is possible to get a pwa (like OsmAPP) in the app stores.

When OsmAPP will be more friendly for common users, it could be find to have a native app. Most users always open their App Store/Play store if they are about to install an app. They don't understand, that website could be added as a desktop app.

Also, with native app, we would get rid of the geolocation confirmation dialog, everytime you click "Locate me" :)
