This project was undertaken for the a module during university. Fundamentally, our tasks was to create a real world application to be used to solve a problem within industry - which was focussed on creating a solution to tackle the problem of crowd-sourced voting within a medical setting.
Most other teams in the module used Java and focused on andriod development. We decided to use the latest tools, languages, technologies and techniques to stay on the cutting edge of technology and learn industry relevant skills. This app was hosted on Firebase, coded in Dart and uses the Flutter UI Toolkit.
The reason of implementing Flutter for our mobile application was so it could work with both Android and iOS platforms therefore making it cross platform.
Please see the presentation below which has mock designs, screenshots of the working app, functionality of the app and our back-end infrastructure created to enable the app to work.
