Overview
This release marks the initial version of the tool, which provides main functionalities to enrich land-use/land-cover (LULC) datasets with other vector data.
Functionality
This workflow includes four Jupyter Notebooks dependent on each other, but the first and last one are optional and mainly developed to apply to the AD4GD project (biodiversity pilot) to rectify the calculation process of habitat connectivity. Interactive execution of these Jupyter Notebooks can be done from user machines with stable network connection as its uses REST APIs to fetch new datasets.
Documentation
Updated and detailed README: Currently, it includes the description of Jupyter Notebooks, workflow diagram and current state. Each user is supposed to interact with the tool through the separate Jupyter Notebook (some of them are optional, and users are free to choose from them). All descriptions of input data and its requirements are given in the corresponding Notebook.
Known Issues
All issues are currently being gathered from separate blocks of this tool, but the most notorious are listed in Issues section.
Installation
There is no installation required, but user is expected to run Jupyter Notebooks through downloading Dockerfile for building a Docker image. This prevents potential issues with running some of the libraries used by this tool, especially GDAL.
Licence
See the detailed description here.
