This release adds a number of features and bug fixes described below. Please note that starting with this release, updates will be delivered via an 'update.zip' file. To update your pISO, just extract the contents of the zip file to the root of your SD card (see the update instructions here)

Features

  • Renaming drives is now supported. See the wiki page for additional info

Bug Fixes

  • Larger ISOs should no longer experience read failures or 'corruption'.
  • The MacOS temp files created in the ISOs folder (starting with '._') are no longer visible on the pISO display
  • UDF formatted ISOS (like the Windows installer) now appear correctly in Windows. This also fixes the 'missing drivers' issue when trying to install windows from an ISO on the pISO.
  • In general, the accuracy of the emulated CD/DVD drive is improved, which may fix problems with some BIOS not listing the pISO as a boot option.
