This repository contains the code for a web-based character builder and manager for the tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG) called City Of Mist. The application allows users to create and manage characters with unique powers and weaknesses. It provides a user-friendly interface for selecting themes, adding power tags, weakness tags, and more.
City Of Mist Character Builder and Manager is a web application built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (vanilla) fronten, NodeJS (ExpressJS) backend PostgreSQL as database. The application provides an interactive interface for users to create, manage, and save their City Of Mist characters. Players can customize their characters by selecting themes, adding power tags and weakness tags, and defining their character's mystery or identity.
Theme Selection: Users can choose from multiple themes for their characters, each with its unique set of power tags and weakness tags. Power Tags: Users can add power tags to their characters, representing abilities or strengths. Weakness Tags: Users can add weakness tags to their characters, representing vulnerabilities. Mystery or Identity: Users can provide a description of their character's mystery or identity, adding depth to the character's background. Save and Load: The application allows users to save their character data in different slots and load them later. Application is designed to work offline so that, lack of internet connection doesn't make your character in accessable. Dice Roller: Players can roll dice for their characters using a built-in dice roller tool.
