Random Number Generator (RNG) tests
===================================

Directory "dump-stm32" contains tools for dumping random data from STM chip.


Description of the files
------------------------

dev_random_*.dat   - data generated from /dev/random (Linux kernel)

dev_urandom_*.dat  - data generated from /dev/urandom (Linux kernel)

stm32_rng_*.dat    - data generated from STM32 chip using random32() function

stm32_rng_nc_*.dat - data generated from STM32 chip using random32_nc() function

*.dieharder        - output from "dieharder" program run for each *.dat file

*.ent              - output from "ent" program run for each *.dat file

*.rngtest          - output from "rngtest" program run for each *.dat file


Notes
-----

Ubuntu: sudo apt-get install dieharder ent rng-tools

Data generated with:
  - Trezor device using python-trezor/tools/rng_entropy_collector.py
    rng-test> ../python-trezor/tools/rng_entropy_collector.py stm32_rng_1.dat 1048576
              unplug and re-plug Trezor device
    rng-test> ../python-trezor/tools/rng_entropy_collector.py stm32_rng_2.dat 1048576
              unplug and re-plug Trezor device
    rng-test> ../python-trezor/tools/rng_entropy_collector.py stm32_rng_3.dat 1048576
              unplug and re-plug Trezor device
    rng-test> ../python-trezor/tools/rng_entropy_collector.py stm32_rng_4.dat 1048576
              unplug and re-plug Trezor device
    rng-test> ../python-trezor/tools/rng_entropy_collector.py stm32_rng_5.dat 1048576
