This is a contribution to the COMBLE-MIP using the Atmosphere and Ocean Single-Column Model (AOSCM).
The model is the single column version of EC-earth 3 and, for the purpose of this intercomparison, is ran in atmosphere-only mode using IFS cycle-43r3 and prescribed sea-surface temperature.

Two out of the three requested sandbox experiments were conducted (deactivating ice processes in the model proved to be too complicated at the moment). Both experiments are marked as 'alt' due to to droplet number concentration deviating from the suggested value (Nd=50 cm-3 over the ocean and diagnostic Ni).

@Michail-Karalis I see a number of files in your 'devel' directory that were not requested. Are you able to provide some details about what these files are? I think it's OK if we include these for completeness, but they should probably be located somewhere else outside of the 'output_scm' directory. Thanks.

@Michail-Karalis Please move this file into 'notebooks/conversion' and rename it to something like 'convert_comble_dephy_forcing_to_AOSCM_forcing.py' just to maintain consistency with other files.

Hello Tim.
The files in devel were the AOSCM original output. They are now in '/data/home/michalis/AOSCM_Karalis'.
I also moved the forcing-conversion script in the right folder under the suggested name.

There was an 'alt' descriptor already in the global attributes, I added the comment about the diagnostic ice output.
Thanks for the review, let me know if anything else is needed!

@Michail-Karalis Thanks for making these changes! Removing the legacy file now since you've included the new file.

@Michail-Karalis Since I can't see it here on Github, can you please confirm that the 'alt' files contain a descriptor in the global attributes so that folks know how the files differ from requested?
