BakaMusic is a free music player designed for easy use. It supports plugins and customization. There are no ads to interrupt your listening. It works smoothly on Windows and lets you enjoy your music your way.

Follow these steps carefully. You do not need any technical skills.
Go to the main page to find the latest release:
On the GitHub page:
- Look for a section called “Releases” or a tab labeled "Releases" near the top.
- Click on it to open the latest release files.
- Inside the latest release, find a file named similar to
BakaMusic-Setup.exeorBakaMusic.exe. - Click the file name to start downloading.
The file size may be around 50-100 MB, depending on the version.
After the download finishes:
- Open your 'Downloads' folder.
- Double-click the downloaded file to launch the installer.
If you see a security prompt from Windows asking if you want to allow this app to make changes, click “Yes.”
- Follow the simple steps shown by the installer.
- You can usually keep all default options.
- Click “Next” or “Install” when prompted.
The installer will copy all necessary files to your computer.
When installation finishes:
- You will see a new icon on your desktop or in your Start menu named “BakaMusic.”
- Double-click this icon to open the music player.
- Click the “Add Music” or “Open Folder” button inside the app.
- Choose the folder where your music files are saved.
- BakaMusic will load all compatible songs automatically.
- Select any song and click the play button.
- Use the basic controls for pause, stop, next, and previous.
- Click “New Playlist” from the sidebar.
- Give your playlist a name.
- Drag and drop songs into the playlist.
- Go to the settings menu.
- Find options for changing themes, layouts, and plugin settings.
- Enable or disable plugins like equalizers or visual effects.
BakaMusic supports plugins to enhance its functions.
- In the settings, locate the “Plugins” tab.
- Click “Add Plugin” to browse available plugins.
- Download and install the ones you want.
- Turn plugins on or off easily from the same tab.
- Adjust plugin options for better control.
If BakaMusic does not start:
- Make sure your Windows is fully updated.
- Restart your computer and try again.
- Check for antivirus software blocking the program.
- Reinstall BakaMusic following the steps above.
If music files don’t play:
- Confirm the files are in a supported format.
- Try adding music from another folder.
- Check the audio output device in the player settings.
