Welcome to the thrilling EscapeQuest a VR project! Get ready for an incredible adventure as you explore themed rooms, solve puzzles, and have an absolute blast!

🛠️ Getting Started

Step 1: Install Unity Hub

  1. Visit the Unity Hub download page: Unity Hub Download.

  2. Download the Unity Hub installer for your operating system (Windows).

  3. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Step 2: Add Unity Editor to Unity Hub

  1. Launch Unity Hub after installation.

  2. Click on the "Installs" tab in Unity Hub.

  3. Click the "Install Editor" button to add a new Unity Editor installation.

  4. Choose the Unity Editor version 2022.3.8f1 and Android modules, then click "Next."

  5. Review the installation settings and click "Done" to start the installation.

  6. Wait for Unity Editor to download and install. This may take some time depending on your selected modules.

Step 3: Clone the Repository

  1. Open a terminal or command prompt.

  2. Navigate to the directory where you want to clone the Unity project repository.

  3. Run the following command to clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/dscpesu/EscapeQuest
    

Step 4: Open the Unity Project

  1. Return to Unity Hub's "Projects" tab.

  2. Click the "Open" button to add your cloned Unity project.

  3. Navigate to the directory where you cloned the repository and select the project folder.

  4. Unity Hub will automatically detect the Unity Editor you installed earlier. Choose it from the dropdown.

  5. Click "Save."

  6. Now, you should see your Unity project listed in Unity Hub.

  7. Click on the project to open it with Unity Editor.
