I’m a versatile professional transitioning from a 14‑year leadership career in the dive industry into tech, where I leverage hands‑on problem solving, team management, and a passion for automation to drive real‑world impact.
At Canada’s oldest diving club (UBC Aqua Society), I rose to PADI Course Director, the highest instructor credential, overseeing safety standards, e‑commerce, retail and service operations. I led a team of instructors, certified hundreds of divers, and organized local and international expeditions, always delivering seamless, high‑quality experiences under pressure.
Over the past two years, I’ve applied the same rigor and continuous‑improvement mindset to Python development, building and maintaining automation tools that streamline administrative and sales workflows in the fire‑prevention sector. I also design and deploy client websites using Django, WordPress, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, delivering clean, responsive design with intuitive functionality.
