#Dirpl
##What is Dirpl? Dirpl is the programming language of the future. Think Haskell is too easy? Worried that your hard drive isn't working hard enough? Tired off having to use text editors and IDEs to write code? Dirpl solves all of these problems and more.
##Features Dirpl is a functional programming language whose features include
- Numerical, boolean and list types - The basics.
- Recursion - An essential feature of any functional language.
- Automatic memoization - Yay for referential transparency.
- High hard drive utilization - With a filesystem block size of 4K, it doesn't take much Dirpl code to fill up a hard drive.
#Dependencies Dirpl should work on any Unix system with Python 3 installed.
To get started with a sample program, run fact.sh. This will create a program that calculates the factorial of 5. To execute it, run "./Dirpl program/".
#Disclaimer Dirpl was created for the Hack BU 2015 Hackathon. Due to the nature of hackathons, the code is hacky and does almost no semantic checking. Hackathon submission
