 Reminders for a smooth backup experience: disconnect from the database (in DBeaver: right-click database name/Disconnect) and quit DBeaver when not using it. This is not essential, I'm pretty sure the backup process will still run without it, I think it just threw up an error one time and quitting DBeaver solved it, so yea.
