Thank you for making the code for this JMLR paper publicly available. I've learned a ton.
I am not entirely sure if you accept pull requests. But in case you do, this one is to speed up this test. I recently needed it to scale to larger datasets. These optimizations vectorize 2 of the 3 nested loops and make it much faster than the reference implementation.
