Installation

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/n4bi10p/intelligit.git
   cd intelligit

2. Install dependencies:

   npm install

3. Set up environment variables:

   • Copy .env.example to .env.local and fill in your API keys and credentials.

4. Open in VS Code:

   • Press F5 to launch the Extension Development Host.

Configuration

Create a .env.local file in the project root with the following:

Note: Never commit your real secrets to version control.

Usage

• Open the AI Assistant panel from the VS Code sidebar.
• Use the dropdown to select features: Changelog Generator, README Generator, Refactor, Commit Summary, PR, etc.
• For changelog/README, select your repo path if not auto-detected.
• Preview, edit, copy, or save generated markdown files.
• For PRs, authenticate with GitHub and manage PRs directly.
