Downloads and Installation

This page will guide you through the process of downloading and installing these data packs.

Download Options

In most cases you'll want to download a worldgen data pack and an island data pack. Only one worldgen data pack (prefixed with skyvoid_worldgen) and only one island data pack (prefixed with skyvoid_island) should be installed in a single world. If you just want a the worldgen (e.g. you want to update a pre-existing world, or you want to build your own starter island), then the island data packs are not required.

A worldgen data pack must be installed before creating the world (or in an old void world), in order to prevent normal chunks from generating. An island data pack must be installed before creating a new world (it will override blocks); installing it after installing a worldgen data pack will not generate a starter skyblock island. "Extras" data packs can be installed at any time by following the instructions below of installing on an old world.

For more information of the different data packs available, visit the Collection page.

Installation on a New World (Preferred)

  2. When creating a new world, add the desired data packs by clicking on the "Data Packs" button then dragging the downloaded data packs into the screen that pops up. Make sure to enable them by moving them to the column on the right.
  3. Create the world
