Wiki ▸ Client error logs
When users encounter a software error, it is helpful for the software team to view the client error logs to help diagnose the problem. Follow these instructions to save the error logs to a file on your computer.

Open the Biobank client and press the
Cancel
button at the Biobank Login dialog box. -
Select Help -> Export Error
Logs from the main menu. -
Check both check boxes in the new dialog window and press the
OK
button. -
Enter a file name when you are prompted (make a note of the Folder you select for the file name). The default file name is
log_export.zip
. -
Press the OK button.
This file can now be sent to the software team as an email attachment.
