• Updates to map functionality: Following on changes from 3.5.1, this release better communicates when a basemap tile set (map style) requires third-party authentication. As part of the change, secondary map styles are now optional and turned off by default. To enable a secondary map style (such as a terrain map variant), use the relevant theme configuration settings. The primary map style is reset to Carto Voyager by default and can be configured in theme configuration settings. With these changes, admins may better understand and control when and if they are using a map style that requires authentication and/or might incur additional costs.
