Since version 2018.3 users may use a perlbrew version manager if available.

Following features available:

Add fully-functional Perl5 interpreter/library from the Perlbrew installation
Action to install new Perl to the Perlbrew
Action to create a library for the selected Perl installation
Action to install a cpanm or patchperl to the Perlbrew
