TWRP 3.4.0-0_CPTB-20200910-05
Changelog:
- Lots of cleanup and fixes/updates from TWRP upstream
- Fix issue with slot switching (if you still get an error, make sure Vendor is unmounted on Mount page)
I have received confirmation that this TWRP is not currently booting on the ZenFone 7 Pro, so I will begin looking into updating the kernel to accommodate this properly to unify the build.
I will also be trying @freak07's kernel source so see if his updates from f2fs-stable help get TWRP booting on Tencent devices with f2fs defined in recovery.fstab.
TWRP 3.4.0-0_CPTB-20200908-03
This release fixes the issue of Tencent devices rebooting at the TWRP splash. The issue is apparently related to f2fs and will need to be fixed either in the kernel or upstream TWRP at a later time. For now, this release is "good enough".
As always, any issues, please post on XDA or on the Issues tab here.
TWRP 3.4.0-0_CPTB-20200905-04
This is the initial TWRP release for ASUS sm8250 devices, originally based on @mauronofrio's instantnoodle tree. I originally made the tree for ROG Phone 3 but realized since it shared kernel source with the ZF7 series, that it should be possible to unify the tree.
I have tested this TWRP build on ROG Phone 3 personally but it is untested on ZenFone 7/7 Pro. There are probably some bugs besides the upstream ones, and if so, please post them with a recovery log on the "Issues" tab. Otherwise, just enjoy!
Known Issues:
- Secondary users aren't detected and don't decrypt (needs fixing upstream)
- MTP may not automatically launch after decryption completes. Toggling "Disable/Enable MTP" on the Mount menu will fix it
