Description

The second revision of the noisemeter PCB refines the prototype design to create something more suitable for larger orders and "production" use.

Changelog

  • The board dimensions were adjusted to fit an off-the-shelf case
  • Dropped one LED and moved the other LED and button to the edge of the board
  • Removed silicon below the ESP32's antenna to improve reception
  • Removed extra IO testpads that are no longer necessary
  • Removed the 0.1" serial header since programming through the USB port is possible.

Device Preparation

The PCB is simply programmed through its Micro-USB port; follow the repo's programming instructions. If your computer has trouble recognizing the connected PCB, re-plug the USB cable while grounding TP1 (for example, by shorting TP1 to the USB port's shroud with tweezers or a wire).
