Adaptive Credit


1. Overview

Creditra is a decentralized risk-priced credit protocol built on the Stellar network using Soroban smart contracts.
It introduces dynamic, algorithmic underwriting based on on-chain economic behavior rather than overcollateralization.

Credit limits and interest rates evolve continuously based on measurable wallet activity, financial attestations, and behavioral signals.

Creditra establishes a programmable credit infrastructure layer for the Stellar ecosystem.


2. Problem Statement

Current DeFi lending models suffer from structural limitations:

  • Overcollateralization requirements
  • Capital inefficiency
  • Exclusion of small participants
  • Static risk models
  • No adaptive underwriting mechanisms

Stellar lacks a structured credit scoring and dynamic underwriting protocol capable of issuing unsecured or partially secured credit lines.


3. Solution

Creditra introduces a risk-weighted underwriting engine:

  • Aggregates on-chain wallet history
  • Evaluates transaction behavior patterns
  • Integrates optional revenue attestations
  • Integrates optional identity bond data
  • Calculates a dynamic credit score
  • Assigns evolving credit limits
  • Adjusts interest rates algorithmically

Credit becomes adaptive, not static.

5. Core Components

5.1 Soroban Smart Contract Layer

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain credit lines
  • Track outstanding debt
  • Calculate interest accrual
  • Enforce repayment schedules
  • Update risk-adjusted parameters
  • Emit borrowing and repayment events

Contract Data Model (Conceptual):

  • CreditLine: borrower, credit_limit, utilized_amount, interest_rate_bps, last_update_timestamp, risk_score, status
  • CreditStatus: Active, Suspended, Defaulted, Closed

Core Contract Methods: open_credit_line(), draw_credit(), repay_credit(), update_risk_parameters(), suspend_credit_line(), close_credit_line()


6. Repositories

This workspace contains three separate repositories:

Each has its own README with local setup instructions. Clone and run each independently or link them for full-stack development.
