Today (because of tight schedule) I didn't achieved so much in my hour of code. What I've done:

added 'categories'-table to manage tags/categories of articles,
updated 'articles'-table -> added column to add tags/categories later,
added extended css file to adjust the main design which is from TEMPLATED.CO,
added extended js file to adjust the main script which is from TEMPLATED.CO (belonging to design),
added side-bar for navigation (no top-navigation),
tried some css on side-bar (still not finished).

For further/more detailed information have a look at the commits made today.
