Hed-Extract Version 1.0 Release Build
This version of Hed-Extract only supports the THP8 datap .hed/.wad format.* It requires the user to extract the .hed/.wad file to an empty folder. To build, the user must also select the same folder as extracted to in order to build correctly.**
*THP8 musicp and streamsp .hed/.wad files are not supported. Nor are the THUG 2
**This is because the program will pack everything inside the selected folder. Any files in the folder unrelated to the wad would be packed too and could cause issues.
Hed-Extract Version 2.0 Development Build
This version of Hed-Extract supports:
Extraction/Building of THP8 datap .hed/.wad files. (File->datap)
Extraction of THP8 and THUG2 musicp/streamsp and THUG2 datap .hed/.wad files. (File->musicp/streamsp)
Other updates:
-Because the program now supports two different types of datap files, it can now detect which format it is and extract the format appropriately. Though the extract functionality can do this, the build functionality can NOT do this. Currently, building of the musicp/streamsp and THUG2 datap format is not supported.
User must be wary of this. Building these files in the THP8 datap format variation will not have the intended effects.
Notes:
-It is planned to support building of the musicp/streamsp and THUG2 datap files by release of version 2.0. Currently it is not known when this may happen, so this version is being released until building of these formats is ready.
