Currencies Guide

Currencies

Currencies are intended to serve as the medium through which players can simulate local economies. They're tied to the lifespan of factions and can be created, renamed, stored and retired.

Help Command

You can view a list of helpful commands with /c help.

Viewing Currency Info

You can view information about your faction's currency by typing /c info.

Your Coinpurse

You can view the contents of your coinpurse by typing /c balance. You can also deposit a currency by typing /c deposit 'currencyName' 'amount' and withdraw currency by typing /c withdraw 'currencyname' 'amount'.

Creation

Faction owners can create a currency by holding an item and typing /c create 'currencyName'. The proposed name cannot be currently in use by an active or retired currency.

Minting

Faction owners can mint currency by typing /c mint (amount). It should be noted that there is a power cost associated with minting by default.

Renaming

Faction owners can rename their currency by typing /c rename 'newName'. Players can update existing currency items in their possession by clicking when holding the currency item.

Retiring

Faction owners can retire currencies by typing /c retire. This essentially archives the currency and makes it impossible to mint any more. The currency will still be able to be deposited and withdrawn, however.

Be sure to rename your currency before retiring it if you want to use the same name.
