Auto Update Materials

Toggle to automatically update the material based on slider changes. Enabling this option allows the color palette to dynamically reflect changes as you adjust the Saturation, Value, Metallic, Roughness, settings.

Reset Settings Option

Choose when to show the reset settings option on the panel.

  • Options:
    • Always show the operator.
    • Show the operator automatically based on changes.
    • Show the operator only when any slider changes.
    • Never show the operator.

Remove Old Materials

When generating a new color palette, the Color Palette addon creates materials for the selected objects. However, using the operator again without this option may lead to the creation of new materials, resulting in unused materials from the previous palette.

Enabling this option will remove the old materials each time a new palette is generated. Keep in mind that turning on this option may increase the time taken to finish the operation.

Panel Category

This setting allows you to choose a custom category for displaying the Color Palette panel in the Blender interface. The panel category helps organize and group related tools and features. By selecting a specific category, you can control where the Color Palette panel appears in the Blender UI, providing a more organized and streamlined workspace.
