Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in Mauritius, the Mauritius Revenue Authority (MRA) has put in place a scheme for self employed individuals. This scheme is known as the Self Employed Assistance Scheme (SEAS). The latter aims to help self-employed people, that is, people who are in business and tradespersons operating in the informal sector. Visit MRA to see detailed requirements.
The application implemented is a sample Java based application using the Swing UI library. This application allows eligible users to apply for a financial support of Rs 5,100 from the Government of Mauritius. NOTE: This application has been implemented as part of a university assignment and has not been deployed in real.
