Releases

Sailbook uses Github as collaboration tool, releases are available from Github, Openrepos and soon the Jolla Store.

Versioning

Sailbook uses the same version scheme as the open source Linux OS Ubuntu: YY.MM-BUILD

Steps

1. Update translations on Transifex
2. Include the release notes in the RPM changelog
3. Increment version
4. Build Release Candidate for both targets (armV7hl and i486) and create a pre-release on Github:
   • Version (tag name): YY.MM-BUILDNUMBER
   • Release notes
   • Known issues (if any)
   • RPMs for both targets
5. When translations are ready or after 1 week of testing create a release on Github:
   • Version (tag name): YY.MM-BUILDNUMBER
   • Release notes
   • Known issues (if any)
   • RPMs for both targets
6. Release on Openrepos and Jolla Store
